Coat hook removal 4th gen

How do you remove the coat hooks from the sail panels on a 4th gen Im gutting my car today to remove the soaked carpet and I cant seem to figure out how to get the coat hooks off

there should be a little rectangular hole in it, stick a really skinny screw driver as far as you can and pry it out some, then you should be able to pull the hook off, i can take a pic of mine if ya need it since my interior is in pieces lol

It has a tab that holds it in there, its the same slot where your putting the screw driver, you'll have to push in towards the rectangular part while your pryig it out to push the tab, and it should pop out.

yeah its like alligator teeth that mesh together. they can be really tough to get out. try pushing the body of the hook forward while prying the center out. watch your hand though, slipped flat head usually leads to blood.
