Dodge Dealer sells 45k car for 29k, tries to back out
So this guy wins a brand new 2009 Challenger SRT8 in a No Reserve eBay auction for 29k, pays his 500 dollar deposit, then the dealer will not answer his calls or emails, and will not accept his deposit. Then dealership lets him know that they won't be giving him the car for 29k that it's an error and not their fault even though eBay page states "Seller assumes all responsibility for listing" and "by bidding your are entering into a binding contract", etc and all that legal mumbo jumbo

nice, interested to see how this turns out

Reminds me of the Hyundai guy!!
BTW, remember its not Dodge's fault...its a dealer. |

Yes, this is true. I should have titled it dodge dealer. |
Updated the thread title for you Martin.
And wow - this should be fun to watch. I imagine the dealer will cave in a few days. - Justin |
This guy needs a friendly lawyer who won't charge him a lot. Otherwise it may not be worth it.

^ Agreed. Will definitely be interesting to follow

****ing that Phistman had me rolling, he was such a pain in the dick, but man

apparently the dealer honored the deal of 29.1k and whatever it was for taxes/title.

I would be all smiles if I was him and I had to take the car back to the dealership for warranty work. That would be too great. Good for him
