just figured i would share some info for the people that are interested. but most of the catback systems for the genesis coupe's go for 900- 1500 plus shippinig depending on brand. well i happened to stumble into a vendor that is cutting me a great deal! there is a vendor on one of the genesis forums that is fabbing up a prototype catback for $400 shipped! 3 inch stainless piping. using 2 resonators instead of muffler for added sound. into stainless steel quad tips. ill post some pictures up as soon as i can. they are fabbing it up this week so he said he would try to send me some build pics. i should prob be getting this at my door in 2 or 3 weeks.

you can spend 400 for an untested exhaust but couldnt shell out 30 bucks for a 98 throttle body for your camaro off tech???? lol what happened to keeping it stock :lol:

jay what are you talking about lol. i wanted to just test a 98 tb to make sure that was the prob. why spend the cash and wait a week or so to just test a part when i had a friend around the corner that still had his 98 tb. slapped that on fixed the issue and bought one that worked for my car. and as far as the exhaust. the vendor said he backs his products 100% and he would take care of me if there is anything i dont like about it. will fit 100% no mods and no issues. and i dont think i ever said i was going to keep the genesis bone stock.

That's a crazy amount of money for a catback but the $400 isn't bad.
