Doing Dynamat of 4th gen Firebird
Does anyone here have good experience in removing and reinstalling the interior to 4th gen cars. I need some help in putting in dynamats to reduce the noise in my interior. I dont want to spend a week doing it lol so I am thinking a couple of guys might take a day or less. Driving to San Antonio Texas the 25th of April and want to have a nice drive all the way down lol. Of course I will feed you and throw in a few dollars.

I removed the entire interior from my 98 SS when I did the ebony conversion. It's really not bad at all. If you need a hand, shoot me a PM with your number.

all you need is a good set of torx bits and a 7mm (iirc) socket. its really really easy.

Sounds good I will get in touch with you guys as soon as my stuff comes in. I am assuming Sat or Sunday would be good? I usally get a day off during the week as well.

Sat or Sunday is best for me.

its ashame im not home, i used to pull mine out on a weekly basis to race, it only takes me about 20 mins now

i'd help if i didnt have to work all day friday, saturday, and sunday.
i just did a full 2 layers of RAAmmatt soud deadener in my car, the sound deadener is easy to install but tedious to cut into form-fitting shapes.. removing the interior on the 3rd gen is prob easier than a 4th gen,but it should be pretty easy cuz mine sure was. |
