Easter Weekend....
 

Today is Good Friday, and Sunday is Easter. So this is a big celebration at my house. We start this afternoon by having the kids friends over (about 15 kids 6-11 years old) for an Easter Egg hunt outside. I have a large property, about 3.5 acres total, so we hide a few hundred plastic eggs with candy inside (I find eggs all through the year, and sometimes, the kids find eggs from last year!). I was up late last night putting candy in plastic eggs. My finger tips hurt.

Then this evening, its a big dinner for the adults. Most family will be here, about 15 adults plus the little ones. Serving a spiral cut ham, lamb, and all the fixings. We take time to honor the Lord with prayer, and then dig in. About 8 adults plus their kids will sleep over.

Saturday, we make big breakfast, then after lunch, its time to dye the hard boiled eggs. This year we cut back, only boiled 5 dozen eggs. This is a big event where artistic value counts among the adults. We always try to out do each other with new methods of dying eggs.

Sunday is Easter, and the family and guests will head out to our church for service. Then back home to eat some more.

I wanted to get an oil change and install the front sway bar this weekend, but it might be tight with all the activity. Will see how it goes.

i wish my house celebrated liek that. it seems every year the celebrations have been getting smaller from family reuions with egg hunts to this year no family just church and a ham:cry: oh well

nice man, love easter egg hunts. i hope my parents hide them this year :)

Doing nothing here, just another weekend for me.

Sounds like a nice weekend. I have work 9am - 10pm tomorrow, but at least i have off Sunday!

I'll be at the pet store squeezing bunnies trying to find out which one poops the Cadbury eggs.

worked, drank, work today, maybe drinking tonight.

If all you do is work and get drunk, life will suck. Don't blame it on Easter. We are having a fantastic time this whole Easter weekend.

im working 56 hours in 4 days, so my Easter is pretty lame

im finishing tearing apart the monte carlo..

and then cleaning the driveway and my tools..

and finally taking the camaro out for a couple hours

hmm... weather tomorrow is looking good for once. Might go out and drive around aimlessly to put some miles on the gears before taking them to the track and blowing them up.

Taking the engine out of my car finally, goign over to eat at my house, then right back to takign it out, and putting the new one in ;D

My easter weekend (Catholic school = extra days :))

Thursday: clean out metal shed, clean my truck
Friday: clean mom's truck, island/applebees
Saturday: soccer, basketball
Sunday: go to Aunt's house at noon until ?, then register at 12am for fall semester (who'da thunk I go to a Catholic school?!)
Monday: Catch up on homework?
