Gov. Christie's Education Plan

Well, thanks to the governor's funding cuts to NJ school districts, My wife and I are both out of a job. Anyone else feel the impact of the budget cuts?

Until Christie hits Auto Parts retailing, I should be okay.

Yup, but from an education standpoint there are too many school districts, too many superintendents making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and even more when they retire.

that sucks man...its actually the exact opposite as my gf who is a state employee recently received a promotion to the title she was given 3 years ago. a little bit of good news in an otherwise dismal economic time

I couldn't agree with you more. The superintendent in my town makes $200K a year and gets a $70K bonus at the end of the year. It's sad to see people lose their jobs, but the teacher's union has been sucking the state dry for years. It's about time something is done about it.
