Loosing power question

when i start my car it fires up fine and runs fine for a little while but after about 2-5 minutes of running the thing looses power and starts to run very unevenly and at times even stalls out. I have no idea whats going on. Any help would be appreciated

vapor lock! or a fuel pump thats crapping out

Clogged fuel filter or fault in the injectors? Possible ignition wire/plug issue?

Im no mechanic by any means im just thinking of things that have gone wrong for me over the years with similar symptoms.

this. what modifications have you made, did you re-route any fuel lines or anything near fuel lines (exhaust, remove heat shields, etc)?

it actually sounds nothing like the symptoms of an opti... lol. sounds like an O2 sensor. what car are we talking about here?

thunder 05-14-2010 10:50 PM

its not the filter cause i just put a new one in lastweek. The car were talking about is the car i bought from Gonzo(member). Its a 95 Formula with an LQ4 swap. Mild cam, full exhaust, no cats.

i would say that its your O2 sensors (or even just one) i had a similar problem. check if it runs fine at WOT and check all of your connections
