Woot, got the wrench out of the Flowmaster this weekend!
:w00t: I forget how many years it has been stuck in that muffler but I got sick of staring at the rusty muffler so I started shaking it around and bunch of rust fell out and so did the 3/8 Craftsman wrench! Now I can throw the muffler out. I'm thinking it was 2004 when I pulled the headers off and dropped the wrench and it slid down the exhaust pipe and into the muffler.

thats pretty damn funny lol
|
wait lol...you did that on purpose in 2004?
|
Nice. Tim dropped a battery tie down in the bug like in December.
Did an oil change this weekend it was in the "engine bay plastic thingy". I was so excited lol |

was it all black and nasty? and i cant believe that it fit throught the first bend in the headers
|
No, it didn't go through the headers, it went straight into the downpipe. This was on my old 68 Camaro with a 94 LT1 and shorty headers. I took the exhaust off the car so the muffler has been sitting outside rusting for the past5-6 years. I put coated longtube headers on the car and a new exhaust.

Thats pretty funny Jeff, I finally got two sockets and a box wrench back the other day when the boat motor came out.
|
sooooo....
...any horsepower gains? |
thats like one of my nice 3/8 drive ratchets i left it on top of the strut tower under the hood or a "premier utility" pontiac vibe. It came back 2-3 months later and it was still in the same spot with my 10mm socket on it.

first time ive ever heard of that |
Thats pretty funny,
The muffler was sitting on the ground in the bushes in front of his house, no HP gains to be had |
Actually, there was a horsepower gain, I removed the Flowmaster and put on some straight through Aerochamber mufflers.
