Hey i need a new thermostat for my 93 Z28...should i stick with the 160*...or i was looking at a Jet performance 180*...which would be best??

are you reprogramming the computer to compensate?

umm would i have to? i know the 93 isnt very computerized...i wanna switch to a 95+ opti and computer setup

go with the stocker....if you go lower you need to tune accordingly

well the one in the car now is a 160...what would happen if i went to a 180?

Does the car have the stock tune in it? Or has the chip been reprogrammed / replaced?

180* is stock for the LT1. Swapping to a 160 won't do much good unless you reprogram the fans to turn on at a lower temp as well.

umm im not sure it had the 160 when i bought it...should i just go back to a 180?
