thats bad karma for youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Blacdout96 06-21-2010 03:00 PM

lol, a V6 can only do so much damage, and only go so fast. I think at the speeds our cars produce, it would be luck to get up on it's side, let alone flip several times

WildBillyT 06-21-2010 03:04 PM

Great, looks like I gotta dig up my "Street racing vs Drag racing" email and send it to Chuckie Webster...

sweetbmxrider 06-21-2010 03:05 PM

My V6 Firebird trapped 118mph in the 1/4!!

madness410 06-21-2010 04:11 PM

the difference is at the track you dont put innocent peoples lives in jeopardy

baddest434 06-21-2010 04:21 PM

sorry i feel bad about the car not the douche driving it!!!!!!!!!!!!

transmaro93 06-21-2010 04:55 PM

just another story of ignorance... sad somebody had to die but at least it was him and not some innocent family driving home. he took the risk and it didnt pay off. If you like that type of racing so much do auto-x if not save it for the track..

T69SS 06-21-2010 06:54 PM

One race = your life. Definitely not worth it

I watched some people in the grand stands get hit with cars and parts off of cars!! I am not saying that Street Racing is right what I am saying is Racing either on the street or on the track is dangerous and it puts lives at risk either way!!

You mean to tell me you never got on your car on the road? That puts lives at risk! If anything else your own life!

BTW.... Love your avatar!!

"Put me in coach I am ready!!"

The argument is not about which is more safe. Although track racing will win that every time.

Mislabeling illegally screwing around on the highway as drag racing gives legitamate drag racing/racers a bad name. Not something that we need, especially in an area when there is so much backlash and NIMBY ******** being thrown at our local racetracks every few months.

People at the track, in the stands, accept the risk of injury or death. People on the street didn't sigh on to end up in the middle of that.

yeah but how often does that happen compared to how many innocent people are killed crossing the street, collisions, etc. by street racing. billy is right the people at the track sign up for it and are accepting the fact that can happen.

im not saying i never got on my car...i open it up every now and then but i never get to the speed where i can flip it several times and run it into a tree...

i like my avatar too..."roger padactor didnt commit suicide...he was...:::swings head from side to side:::...MURDERED"

BigRocsFirebird 06-21-2010 09:59 PM

poor guy. i'm sure all of you have raced someone on the street at least once in your lifetime. he doesn't deserve to die just because he was being stupid. but street racing is stupid i don't do it i live close enough to atco

No but people who drive on the roads know the risk of driving and its sad to say it but street racing is one of those risks! I see at least 1 street race a day! I see alot of people just beating on there cars everyday leaving from red lights and what not. I also see just about everybody in the 45 zone on 295 doing 70 mph plus!! And dont let me get on the bikes! These are all risks that we all take when we drive wether we are the ones that are doing the infractions or are just the people that are driving home from work! My job is all about travel. I got my work van with 5000 miles on it in March 2009 and now it has 43,000 miles on it!!

Automobile accidents are an assumed risk, that's for sure. Being hit at 100+ or dealing with somebody flying by at that speed is not generally assumed.

I dont know what Highways you drive on but people doing 80 in a 55 or 45mph is pretty Common on 42,76,476 and 295. I usually do 10 over but I still get passed like I am standing still on most highways!

So if I am doing 65mph in a 55 zone and a car is passing me doing 80mph and loses control and hits me is that an accident or is that the person being stupid for driving 80 in a 55??

In the Goverment eyes I think that Recklass driving speeding starts at 20 over. So if you get caught doing 75 in a 55 or 55 in a 35 then you are a dangerous driver in the goverments eyes!

Firebird92 06-22-2010 10:24 PM

as i see it everytime you get in a car on the street or track, you take the risk that you may not come home that day.

but it's all about control knowing your limit he just found his the hard way
