Front suspension Question

For shocks or w/e the hell they are up front...

For a car that is drag raced say once or twice every few months..

A) Would a more drag oriented set of shocks help with launching?
B) Double or single adjustable?
C) Brand preferences?

Thanks.

Well...

They would help with weight transfer. Is your sway bar gone?

I would setup the rear before the front since they will help you more.

I like the QA1'a, with your car I would run a 300 or 325# spring

Front sway bar is gonna, I have a panhard bar, rear LCAs,relo bracket and 50/50 shocks in the back.

Only thing missing is torque arm.

I do do a rear sway bar/drag bar as well.

More important than the front stuff you think?

I am open to doing either, just was under teh impression the front would help more.

We have been putting Strange billet single adjustable shocks on street/strip cars for a while now and they work very nicely. They are around $150 each from us

LTb1ow 06-27-2010 08:53 PM

So a SA is fine, and a DA is not worth it?

JSPERFORMANCE 06-27-2010 08:55 PM

In your case the Strange single adjustable will do just fine.

Alright, very cool, thanks Josh.
