i had a dual cone filter thing but it just wasnt doin it for me, so i got a used Donaldson Blackwing filter with a cover off corvetteforum for super cheap... so i decided to cut open the plastic shroud to get some cold air from under the car.... heres crappy pics lol

that dual cone does look a little obnoxious.

i kinda liked the dual cone.. but your new setup is deffinitly going to get some cooler denser air to that engine... nice!
