NJFBOA Yahoo fantasy football 2010
well since we made it past the middle of july with no one mentioning it, i picked the reigns back up for the njfboa ffb league.
i currently have it set to 12 teams, but that can change slightly with more interest. for now, the first 11 to go to the league home and register will be in. http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/ league name: njfboa password: camaro i stuck almost to the default yahoo settings, ill let someone tell me if they can see what i changed... we can discuss other changes, or any wagering after we have the interest |
I was thinking about this the other day. I keep thinking its early for football season but its only like 6 weeks till the start of the regular season.
I'm in as usual. Gotta win it this year after my disappointing finish of second last year. Any chance of a buy in this again? Last years went fine and it added its share of excitement to the league. |
we can make it a paid league, i wasnt going to make it mandatory because i dont want to turn anyone away. part of starting now rather than mid august is so we have time to discuss those things
|
I think I might jump in on this, missed out last year. I wouldn't object to a small buy-in to keep things interesting.
|
went to register nd said league is not registered. i want in!
|
just tried to join again and it wouldnt let me. IM IN!!!! fo sho! ill buy in as well but wont be able to do the buy in until after concert season, right before preseason.
|
I want in as well. Was in last year.
and $20 BUY-IN SHOULD BE MANDATORY. Lets just be honest, without money on the line, alot of people dont take it seriously, and dont update their rosters week to week..and then it just becomes stupid. the $20 buy-in last year worked fine, and everyone was competetive till the end. Im sure everyone who was in last year would agree. I would even be willing to up the pot to $25 a person. thats a nice little payday for the winner! if you're not down with a buy-in...then let someone create a non $$$ league. agreed? |
im down for the buy in but like i said, the buy in for the league shouldnt be due until at least preseason. i have too many things going on right now to dump 20 bucks. thats like 2 drinks at mayhem or ozzfest
|
I want in this year....I could probably swing a $20 buy in, but wouldn't want to go any higher.
Mike - post the league ID number, not the name. - Justin |

Signed up this morning. Figured it wouldn't be a competition without last year's champ :-P

That was a painful loss. I hope to see you again in the final this year. |

I am also cool with a buy-in. BTW, I remember it was pointed out last year that PayPal deducted a fee from some of the buy-ins because they were sent as "for goods." If we use PayPal, we have to make sure everyone sends it as "personal" so nothing gets deducted.
|
true...
im fine with a buy in, and i think everyone that committed so far is fine with a buy in, so what i think we should do is once we have a full league, put up a vote for the amount (20, 25, etc) but as of right now, it will be a buy in league |
were not doing any keepers from last year are we?
