l98 spyder> vortec spyder?

i just picked up my vortec long block, its missing the spyder(lifter retainer hold down) i have one from a 90 L98 and im wondering if they are interchangeable if not im gonna sell the L98 one and buy one for the vortec thanks for the help

Should be the same - AFAIK the blocks are very similar (1-piece rear main seal, roller cam), except the Vortec one may not be drilled for a mechanical fuel pump rod (not that it matters if you're EFI anyway).
