1996 trans am t-tops
up for sale is my 96 trans am.
mods
fresh motor only 3200 miles. its a 1992 vette short block. the bock was sent out and had it hot water boiled, new bearings,rings freeze plugs and honed, the crank was also polished and pistons cleaned. the car has trickflow 21* heads with comp cams 1.55 roller rockers, chromoly hardened pushrods, ls7 lifters. the camshaft is a cc306. it has a melling high pressure oil pump. other mods are meziere electic water pump, cold air intake, hooker super competition headers, true duals consist of magnaflow hi-flow cats and moroso race mufflers dumped and a hurst shifter. the car has a mail in tune from pcmforless, i would suggest having it dyno tuned, it runs a little rich. just added a moser 12 bolt with 4.11s and a spool has 33 spline axles
downside to the car is it is a 96 so it has its paint blemishes, the front bumper has spider webbing and the synchros in second are going, it grind when you shift to second sometimes. it still has second gear and grabs fine though.
the car has a inspection sticker for 2012
