well, I dunno how you faired at the end Ron, but did you get 14s? I knew once they started letting someone run a dirtbike on knobby tires, the track was going to crap.

I didn't get my 13 sec pass, went a 14.006 @100 as a best for the night, but did cut a 2.10 60' which was a new pb.

On my last pass before I left, I did however get to snap a nice photo of the almighty Saturn doing its burnout. Terrible quality but, I enjoyed the burnout :lol:

lol that was my boy Jim on his dirt bike. My boy Jason, his bro, was on his R1 as was I on mine.

ah the best i did was 15.21 @ 89.90 mph 2.26 60' i went slower ET wise and i lost a solid mph. with a 60' like that, i shouldve been in the 14.9 range. few weeks ago i went 15.13@90.90mph on a 2.35 60'. in all seriousness, i think there was a pretty decent headwind. thats the only thing i can think of that slowed me down

Yeah, well punch him in the face for those of us who wanted a track that wasn't torn up.

If the officials did not say anything to him, not the guys at the gate, whom all knew he had knobbies, then I don't see the harm in him running, so no, i will not "punch my friend in the face". He has a 550 Aprillo he's rebuilding the engine and he will be running that from now on, not the dirtbike anymore.

its a dick thing to do. all bikes run in the groove and that dirtbike put ****** rubber down for the real cars
