fw1 waterless wash and wax...anyone use it?

so I'm on my way to school today and I stop to fill up at the bp in Edison before 287. I see a guy at a table with all these fancy signs with this fw1 was. accidently I made eye contact the dude walks over and tells me about this product he was pitching..I say no thanks.

then the dude starts spraying it on my car and I get out I'm like wtf are you doing and he began the process to use it and it made the part he sprayed look brand new. he tried it on the wheels and they look the cleanest I've ever seen.

I'm an impulse buyer so I bought a can. as soon as I pull out I'm like why the hell did I do that I just bought a car cleaning product from a sketchy dude at a gas station? lol. so my question is is this product too good to be true or is there a catch like the paint will dull much sooner? I'm not using it until I get feedback and personal experiences. so far google came up about 75 to 25 percent good responses. thanks in advance

only problem is if u use it on a dirty car the dirt an grime can scratch the paint so be carefull .

Foosh 09-09-2010 09:43 PM

most compounds and polishes are petrolium based

I'm not getting it. Why wouldn't you just wash your car? If it's cold out go to a pay and spray or a car wash.

If some stranger was spraying an unknown substance on my car without my permission the cops would be called...

Hahah i just remembered what happened when the girl did it to my truck.

She: I'd like to show you how well it cleans your brake dust off your wheels
Me: Uh ok
Her: does work and goes look how much brake dust it cleaned off
Me: I have ceramic pads which emitt little to no brake dust, my trucks just dirty
Her: Oh... walks away
