What year is the block from? And was it magnifluxed?

im gettin an 86 iroc z...will a TPI setup bolt onto it....not very good with Gen 1 blocks so im not sure how anything really works with them

BonzoHansen 10-09-2010 02:47 PM

The block will work but is not your worry. It all depends on the heads and the tpi lower intake. I think an 86 is a normal bolt pattern, if so it will bolt up to the complete motor I have.

99 the blocks date code says its from 1973 and yes it was magnafluxed, line honed, decked, bored .030 over and cam bearings/freeze plugs installed. there also may have been more work done but i cant remember exactly what else

TB the heads are the determining factor there, and depends on your tpi lower intake also as bonzo said

Bonzo thanks for advertising your engine on my thread :moon::mrgreen:

needs to go before i move i dont want to cart this thing to the new ouse, 75$ is a steal for a brand new fully machined 350 block

Ya still got this? Where you located? I was going to hold out for a 4 bolt block but I'll just throw studs in this.

Shoot me a pm back.
