Exactly. And then I, who still has a manual, shift like a grandmother and have the reflexes of a cow. I hate you Ron.

Squirrel 10-04-2010 08:18 PM

hm... driving = easy

JerzLT1 10-07-2010 08:21 PM

its not wasted talent, hes tired of breaking parts. i love rowing gears too but at some point you just have to come to the realization that autos are faster

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-07-2010 08:43 PM

I would without a doubt rather be a little slower with a manual trans and truly enjoy driving than get that last bit with an auto.

My first reaction is to say, build it right once, and never worry about it. And then I remembered who this thread was about. I suppose the alternative is to not drive the car so hard?

:stupid:

I've made my disdain for autos no secret. Did I pick this car and buy it? No. Is it better than driving the Explorer? Yes obviously, but every time I drive it I think of how much more fun it could be. Do I drive the Z much? No - more like once or twice a month a month to meets...

I seem to recall a comment, "the hammer of Thor"

Untamed 10-13-2010 08:58 AM

Autos wont keep him from slamming the car into Drive as he's rolling backwards.

I forsee more transmission issues in the future.
