Damn tourists

JSFBOAers I feel your pain. It takes a lot longer to get places lately, as it is every year, thanks to all the easterners and New Yorkers coming out here to go pumpkin picking and go to our corn mazes.

This is Ort Farms at the bottom of the mountain this afternoon. There's a cop directing traffic just ahead of this.

you'll never feel our pain

our beaches > your corn mazes and pumpkins

silly north people

Multiply that by 100 and you've got shore traffic in the summer, as you've seen. It sucks, especially since I like the go fast pedal :drive:

Clearly you can't appreciate both like I can! And I feel your pain even more than you do! I not only suffer shore traffic but up here too! Andddddd I suffer east Jersey traffic going to Seton Hall everyday, or when I interned....to ADP at Roseland.

How about getting behind some city slicker who doesn't know how to drive on a curvy two lane mountain road, or is just out for a Sunday drive enjoying the multicolored trees and scenic views while you're trying to cruise, or even just run an errand!

corn mazes and pumpkins huh? where is that exactly? ill make my way up to check it out :)

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-17-2010 03:09 PM

Best corn maze is Stony Hill farm in Chester, but I like our pumpkins better here in Long Valley

Denville is nowhere near like by me lol. Our shore areas are comparable, but I have wayyy more farms by me than there are in Denville.

Their pain is different- because they don't need tourist money to survive...

truthhhhhhhhh

Nor do you shore people lose power all the time (this morning, for 2 hours) for random reasons. This morning: squirrels ate through a wire somewhere east of here. We have underground powerlines!

sweetbmxrider 10-18-2010 10:55 AM

dang cattle got loose again and backed up main street for 3 little hand marks!

Well THERE'S your problem: goshdarnit all these new transformin burrowin squirrels are all up in our ground. Bubba! Grab mah ten gauge!

(Also, after mocking your hickness... Don't groundhogs burrow underground and nibble on stuff..? Last time I checked squirrels can only cllimb, jump, run, and occasionally fly.) :)

CHRIS67 10-18-2010 02:40 PM

Nick - Time to take these guys on a Long Valley backwoods canoe trip. :moon: Sueweeeee.

No, the next neighborhood over has powerlines above ground, among others.
