I just wanted to let anyone know if they are thinking of doing business with ERIC (Grandmastercow) to just stop and run the opposite way!

Ill just clear this up before he chimes in and talks junk on me. We Traded our cars my 98 z28 6.0 6speed for his 98 Trans am Turbocharged.

I bought a rebuilt trans from a friend of mine SJ Sleeper most of you guys know curt is an awesome guy. anyway i put the new 6 speed in the car
and only took it down the road 2 times(car wasnt insured) but the trans shifted like a hot knife through butter. The day that
ERIC was coming to drop off the TA and pick up the camaro i noticed that one of the injector o rings was pissing fuel onto the intake. so i told him
and i took all day calling up and tracking down o rings so that i could get them replaced and he could have a nice running car when he came to get it.

Eric comes and picked up my car and dropped his off. we swapped my wheels to the ta and went on our seperate ways.
(i knew the car was going to need some work) I put the ta in the garage and it sat there for a few days before i got a change to start getting into it.

I get a message from eric saying that he was having issues with the new trans i put in the car.
Im working with him to see whats going on. i contacted curt to see what he thought. I told eric who i bought it from and he contacted curt himself also.
(dont know what was said between the 2 but im sure curt will chime in)
Eric told me he could have a local shop do the rebuild for like 800. After that i didnt hear from him for a few more days. I figured i would help him out if
he wanted some cash to put towards it since im a nice guy. But the next time i heard from him he asked me if i had an extra f body rear.
I asked what happened and he said he ran the car down atco, snapped the driveshaft and broke the rear. At this point i thought to myself.
Im not helping this kid out if hes taking the car with a "broke" trans down to race at atco and pushing it hard enough to snap the driveshaft and break the rear.

Is he that stupid? Really who takes a broken car to the race track when its your daily driver?

Any way at this point ive started digging into the ta finding hacked wiring under the dash (for remote start) and a bunch of **** hacked up and rigged.

trans cooler line was bungied to the lower rad support. turbo mounting bolts were hand tight. motor mount center bolts were loose. not to mention the friggen alt. relocation
bracket that he made. no wonder the damn belt was loose. just home depot angle iorn/washers and all thread rods to support it.

I never got in his **** about that. Im one who just deals with what i have and make it better.

i only contacted Eric when i had questions about something i wasnt sure of.

well it came down to the point with the trans am that i didnt want to fork out more money to get the car to where i wanted it.
It would of been cheaper for me to buy a roller and start fresh.

So i started to part out the car. I pulled the "Forged" motor and 4l60e out of the car figuring i would save them for my next build.

well im doing pretty good parting out the car. i had the motor on the engine stand getting ready to start bolting my new heads on and something told me
to pull the crank rods and pistons to have them balanced. From what i saw from the rest of the car i didnt want to chance it not being balanced

curt stopped by my house since he was close and picked up the stock crank, eagle rods, and forged pistons. i get a message from curt the next day
"Hey check your block and tell me what you see. #2 cyl to be exact."

i get home flip the motor over and what do i see? Crosshatch in walls is pretty much gone in 2 spots in each cyl. i see makes going straight up and down on 2 sides of each cyl wall.
i freaked out and told curt i cant believe i didnt catch that!

so not only did eric say the car had parts in it that it didnt have (i have proof) but the forged motor that had 2K on the rebuild looked like it had
over 300k on it! Pistons are needing replacement and are unusable. rods are good still and crank needs to be machined. along with block needing to be bored out.

On top of that here is what else was listed but not on the car.

suppose to have
LS6 cam
3200 stall convertor
3inch magnaflow catback
APR studs
3.42 gears with auburn diff.


what it really had

LS1 Cam
Stock convertor
2.5 V6 magnaflow hacked up catback
stock main bolts
stock head bolts
3.23 gears with stock diff.

only upgraded bolts were with the rods(just rod bolts) no studs anywhere

on top of that it looked like he never changed the oil because the bottom of the pan looked like tar.


he now has my camaro up for sale and says it has documented 15k miles on the 6.0 lq9 that i swapped in and thats a complete lie also because the motor had 45k on it
and i never gave him paperwork for the motor!


just found out that the rear i sold that was suppose to have an auburn diff and 3.42 gears really only had 3.23 gears and stock diff!

SO DONT DEAL WITH GRANDMASTER COW HE IS A DICK AND ISNT AN HONEST GUY!

Wow dude, that's real mature since I haven't talked to you in months and this thread has been brought to my attention. Why the hell would i try to dick you over? I told you ever single little thing about the trans am, that it was a project, that it wasn't in mint condition. I have been fully honest with you and I've heard from the very beginning that you have been talking crap about me. That's really mature, really, I assume you want to make yourself feel better because you decided to part out the trans am instead of fixing it, since you apparently bought all the items to fix it.

I thought you were more mature, I guess i was wrong and i should have heeded the warning that users on here PM'd me, especially since they knew I have a wife and daughter to take care of and I'm working very hard on life things and I was glad my TA went to a nice home and I was gonna get your car. Now, back to the Camaro. In your driveway, right in front of you, we had issues getting the trans to shift into gear, and you said because it was fresh rebuilt, that's how a rebuilt T56 drives. I had a feeling something was wrong, but i went against my judgement, and still pulled the car onto the trailer. Now I've had to take care of the rear leaking , and yes, i did break the rear and driveshaft at the track, and i paid the price and bought parts and repaired it and it drives beautifully, except for the transmission, which is acting up still since day 1.

Now i've heard that you've been doing quite a bit of smack talking to members who bought parts off the trans am, and i do not appreciate slandering my name, since you met me only once and i have plenty of people that can vouch for me that I wanted the best for the trans am and if i knew you were going to part it out, i would've NEVER traded, especially since you told a few members that I better not part the Camaro out, that it was in mint condition, yet you part out the trans am.

Now we both did this trade 'as-is', and i wouldn't try to cheat you out of a car, hell, from what i've heard what happened to the previous engine in this Camaro, i'm surprised it's even running.

this coming from a kid who asked if i was a mechanic becaused i used a torque wrench to tighten down lugnuts lol.

you might think you know about the previous motor in the camaro but you really dont.

Also, about the engine, I was fully honest about everything in that engine, I do not know what you did to the parts or sold people after it was in your hands, but anyone that has been in that car or saw its build progress can vouch for the internals.

Also, you NEVER offered any cash towards the transmission, you told me to contact SJ Sleeper, so I did, but I also do not live on the internet nor does my life revolve around arguing with idiots, so i have important family resonsibilities to take care of.

Also, NJ Torque, your opinion doesn't matter because this is between me and Eric, no peanut gallery nor you calling me names because I honestly couldn't care less.

nick upgraded intake and thats my fault for buying used parts. took the hit because i didnt clean it before i put it on and it had something in it which trashed my ls1. so i upgraded to my lq9

thought i might of dropped a small bolt or nut in the head but i ended up finding it after i had car out of garage.

eric. you told me the motor had 2k on rebuild. motor was trashed walls were beat along with shot pistons from not enough oil or not enough fuel. which in that case would be running a turbo on stock fuel pump.

but like i said im over the car i just want people to think twice before they do business with you. and i made sure i did everything right when i swapped motors. didnt take any shortcuts. i know the trans am need some work and i was content with that. im use to fixing up cars. but that thing needed way more than expected.

also, are you trying to make yourself feel "better" or something? there's no point in starting ****, you said its behind you, ok good, i couldn't care less. I have a family and a beautiful daughter to take care of and I have better things than internet fighting with you.

but im curious what you heard about what happened to the ls1 that was in my car.

like i said i found what i dropped. fell behind motor. nothing was found that was bolt related inside the motor or pan. which is what i stated after i tore the motor apart.

I 2 am also glad I did not trade my 02 WS6 for his T/A..

Sucks, but I think I remember alot of us in the chatroom warning you about the trade in the first place.

As much as I want to agree with you, it takes all of 2 minutes to pop off the cover of a 10 bolt when its sitting in front of you. So that part of not getting what you paid for isn't all on grandmaster.


But so much for being mature. I think this could have all been handled through PM's or you could have just flagged all his posts with the car for sale and notified admins of his past dealings instead of making this a public bash fest.

Enough fun for one night. There are 3 sides to every story, and since the two sides have posted their stories and the real story is never really known, enough.
