First frost of the season

and I need a scraper with a longer handle! My truck doesn't sit that high, but it's high enough that i can't get to the middle of the windshield with my scraper. :-? I will say that the hood insulation works really good, when I pulled into work it was still covered in frost.

ya luckily my scrapper was in the back of the car. i was tempted to sit there and let it completely warm up but got bored

I miss summer already.

I had to help my mom bring in a bunch of plants before the frost last night (and before I could leave for boston) she knew it was coming

wow frost already? But and again it is November First already. Does anyone else feel like this year had a gap in it? Kinda feel like it was April May June October and now November anyone else feel this way?

redsoxsstink 11-01-2010 02:14 PM

it felt good walking to class today, i like the cold

Last year we waited months for the rain to stop so that kind of threw off the timing. This year it got hot and dry for too long so you couldn't wait for it to cool down a little and by then it was Sept. The long term forecast for this winter is for it to be colder than normal Nov through early Jan and then it gets milder and is warmer than normal for the later part of the winter. That doesn't sound too bad since snow doesn't stick quite as bad in Dec with the ground still being somewhat warm. I used to keep the car in the garage every night so scraping frost wasn't an issue. Now the truck stays outside so I need to get used to the scraping routine.

No frost here but it was 32 degrees this morning.

It was really tough so I turned on the heated and massaging seats and the air scarf (warm air blown on the back of the neck) in my 2011 SL550 drop top.... And no, the top stayed up!

More than likely your car has frost on it and will get water spots on it as it melts away..... Either way we're getting spots. lol

meh i never get water spots on the car, on the glass maybe about 2 inches worth but thats alot easier to clean than cleaning the whole top half of the car:wink:
