It ain't out just yet.... and looks like its a dodge employee making a pass in it.

maroman88 11-19-2010 09:40 AM

i likkeeeee

TAdan 11-19-2010 10:17 AM

But what did the thirdgen run? Looked like a 17 sec pass. around 88.

That 392 edition looks great in white and blue.

Not really surprising to me at all. My RT Charger has gone 13.60 stock. Less motor, less gearing, and a bit heavier than the Challenger SRT. Hell, I know of 2010 RT Chargers going 13.3x stock.

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-19-2010 01:58 PM

I always thought they should run more like that, given the power they make.

That exhaust is pretty quiet.

ET is pretty good for what it is. I like it, but not my first choice for the $.

Calm down, Gottlieb Daimler....or you'll break a hip

A comparison to a E39 M5 is more than flattering. I've heard people say that car drives with more soul than the new one.

Give me a 2011 Camaro/Mustang GT anyday...but glad to see Chrysler is staying in the game. $42k is way to much for this car IMHO

12secondv6 11-23-2010 07:06 PM

Sure its a boat at 4200 lbs.... sure it can't go around a turn... but it is cool in a straight line ;)

Just because it isn't track-worthy, doesn't mean it can't turn. I've been hearing the new suspension tweaks are fabulous. James- what's stopping you from getting one of these? They are plenty cushy for your back, and you love them so much. The new 3.6 V6 is really a fabulous motor, and way more than necessary; and we all know how good you can do with a V6!

foff667 11-24-2010 10:40 AM

Is it me or does that track looks like it runs downhill

ws6 jim 11-24-2010 09:45 PM

Its a lot of car, but its also a lot of money I like it and all but would not spend that much when the 5th gen Camaro or 5.0 Mustang can be had for way way less in v8 trims

BigAls87Z28 11-24-2010 10:03 PM

42k? You have to do battle with the Boss 302 now for that money, and the Boss is STILL cheaper.
