what are you looking to correct or improve on? i mean the main thing is light. the yellow street lights give you that yellow tint. leaving the lights on the car with a long shutter creates the blurry lights and colors the area around it. if your source light is behind your car, it will make the car darker or you will blow the light out. it really depends what you are shooting and what you are trying to accomplish. post processing helps a bunch. I try to keep say a street light or a building light out of the frame unless it is part of the picture like in the parking garage or the building sign. don't be afraid to crop either!
i like 12 too, makes that 6er look fast. only thing is the blue lines. i don't like when they intersect the car unless it is part of the picture. shoot in aperture priority too if you don't already. expose for the car or whatever you want exposed and adjust your overall exposure if you want the picture a little more over or under exposed. depending how close or far you are from the car, f8-11 tends to be the sweet spot for most lenses giving you the sharpest picture. I try to shoot the same pic a few times and see what works best on my computer. You can also shoot the same pic twice, exposing once for the background and once for the car. as long as the two aren't drastically different, you can layer the foreground into the background and have a pretty cool shot. its all your preference and what your style is though. can't please everyone so just please yourself 8-) |
that saleen is NICE

like stated above its in the light sources/exposure. make sure the camera is white balanced correctly. if you have photoshop, aperture, or some other photo editing you can mess with the levels and change the color of the photo.
if its at night you'll want a larger opening on the aperture, completely open or f/1 or f/1.4. if theres enough light then close it down, closing it down will increase your depth of field, (things in the distances will be in focus) you want the light source to either be above or behind the camera, |

Don't expect good results with something you printed off the internet... |

i think you could improve your composition some. if you are wanting your car as the center of attention, you gotta make it that. you don't have to necessarily fill the frame but a large portion should be the object of interest.

i bought the firebird cause of matt (DaSkinnyGuy). turns out i love the f-body also. This wont be my last one. I had to get a v6 cause my mom was to scared i like going fast and burnouts and all that good stuff. But since i always loved mustangs i got a fox body and rebuilt from bottom up in the past 7 months. The kid with the saleen is my best friend. He only got it cause i wanted a mustang so his parents bought him that. The other mustang is a freind from school. He busted my balls all day for buying a mustang then he gets one. I always liked the fords cause i grew up with them. I'm also loving the f-bodys though. I like the fact that people with f-bodys with talk with you and are pretty cool. So i can see myself getting another or maybe even buying a corvette. After taking a ride in that blue one in the picture next to the f-150 it sucked me in. that thing is pretty quick although hes got a ton of money put into it. hes been building it from groung up. hes become a great friend of mine and before i met the guy i made fun of the shopping cart handle wing on the back. but everything is put togeather nice when in person. he does circuit racing. i've seen him take some turns well over 90mph and the thing takes it like its nothing. i can't wait till his supercharger is put on. Standard mirrors don't are smaller, with the option of the turn signal in it. Just did t know if he swapped for those and color matched the paint.
