WTB - PC Stuff - Please Read
 

Hey guys,
The computer that my son plays with is ancient (it was my old computer, at least 8 years old) and dying a slow death, but he's only 7 so he obviously doesn't need anything special. I replaced the power supply and DVD drive a while back so those are OK, but I need a full-size ATX motherboard, processor, RAM (unless it's the same as what's in there now) and hard drive. Anyone got anything used and budget-friendly that still works good?? I'm in Bergen County, and can pick up parts if you're close by.

I have a Pentium 4 Dell you could just throw a hard drive in. Probably just as old as the one you have though hahah.

i can dig through my spare stuff and see what i have. i think i have a hard drive and i know i have a mobo/cpu/ram, but i cant remember off hand what they are exactly. i sold my desktop so i dont have a need for any of this stuff anymore

I got a few things sitting around I can dig up and give to you for free

Heheh, I think we'll pass on that, I was looking for something a bit newer (maybe 4-5 years old). Anyone else have anything hanging around?

steve if it helps a buddy of mine builds and repairs computers. i can ask him what he has around or see if he can upgrade what you have real cheap
