IMO, if you're going to spend the money on an off-road pipe, there's no reason to keep the stock manifolds either, especially considering you can get a set of headers for another couple hundred bucks more.

I had a Borla version of that. Borla Y-pipe with highflow cat. The studs in the stock manifolds weren't long enough to pass through the flanges because the larger pipes put the flanges futher down the pipes. So I needed longer studs, and of course, the studs broke so I had to drill them out. Didn't see any change at the strip as far as a real power gain, but it did make the car slightly louder/deeper then stock.

I had the Borla y-pipe like John mentioned and they needed to put longer studs in it like he said. So check into that to see if it will truly bolt up to the manifold with the stock studs. Were you planning on running a cat or leaving it out? I went with a Random Tech 3" cat bolted up to a Flowmaster cat-back so it was running true 3" all the way and not the 2-3/4 neck down I-pipe. It gave the exhaust a much deeper sound, not sure on any power gains, but I already had a supercharger and I didn't feel like bothering with headers.
