Volvo Fuel Line
1996 Volvo 850
I need to know if the return line is replaceable and or how much work is involved to do so. Basically, if it is like a 4th gen with the quick connect to metal lines into the tank on top, I am ok with doing the work, but if I have to replace all the lines... do not want. It was kinked/snapped/chewed through right next to the fuel filter, so it has a quick fix on it now but I need to make it a 100% fix. Can't seem to find much on the topic, guess no one appreciates fixing volvos. |
Nylon tubing? I've seen repair kits at the parts store I go to. I have used the repair kits for the metal lines/fittings before but not for nylon. On some of the GM cars the line is printed with "Do not repair" not sure how well they work or how safe they are.

$100 bucks later and we have a new return line.
Spent the afternoon working under the car, success is mine. Guess I just fail when I work on my car... |
