Jets/Pittsburgh

Huge Jets fan here, who is everybody rooting for?

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS

Frosty 01-22-2011 11:19 AM

I'm rooting for Rapistberger and the Steelers because I can't stand the Jets, their front-runner fans and Rex Ryan. We'll see, I was wrong about the Pats game.

Rob's 69 01-22-2011 11:25 AM

Listen I have been a fan of the Jets as well as the Mets my whole life so I have not seen a ton of winning in my time. I can say I have not met a lot of front runner Jets fans

Frosty 01-22-2011 11:28 AM

I didn't say you did I? ;)

LTb1ow 01-22-2011 11:47 AM

Hurray for the eagles losing, wait, oh yea, go jets!

Blacdout96 01-22-2011 11:49 AM

I'd like to see the Bears and Jets go. I'm tired of hearing about the Steelers, and the Bears deserve to boost Chicago's sports fans, caue we all know the cubs arent exactly Championship material lol. How long have they gone without a championship?

And since Jordan retired, and the NBA has been cancalled and disbanded, Chicag........what? The NBA is still around? Oh, my bad, it's just that I haven't heard a word that they are still playing, or still have a league for that matter

NastyEllEssWon 01-22-2011 12:30 PM

agree... there arent many front runner Jets fans thats for sure... they have there group of dedicated fans like any other team

Adam1978 01-22-2011 01:14 PM

jets all the way, my team are the Gmen so when they are out ya gotta cheer on the the folks that share a stadium with you lol GO GREEN GIANTS!

NJ346 01-22-2011 01:16 PM

I'll be rooting for the Jets like always. I couldn't stand it last year when the jets went on their winning streak and all of a sudden all of these fans popped up. This year, with all of the **** Rex has been speaking it's kept some people from becoming front runners because they can't stand him, which I view as a good thing.

Rex is good for new york and for developing Sanchez, oh, and ofcourse he practically helps reporters keep their jobs

A few weeks before the playoffs started the Saints played the Seahawks and the Saints killed the Seahawks by like 20 points. In the playoffs the Saints played the Seahawks and the Seahawks beat the Saints who just a few weeks before pummeled them.

A few weeks before the playoffs started the Patriots played the Jets and the Patriots killed the Jets by like 20 points. In the playoffs the Patriots played the Jets and the Jets beat the Patriots who just a few weeks before pummeled them.

It was actually Jets 22, Steelers 17. And the Jets had to hang onto that game and won it thanks to a forced safety by Jason Taylor late in the 4th quarter that put them up 5 points instead of 3. With the way the jets are playing now, this should be a very close game again.

itll be steelers/packers, how exciting:rolleyes:

greenformula92 01-22-2011 05:39 PM

this is going to be a very close game, both teams are playing very well and the defenses are matched, that being said pittsburgh's offense is much more explosive. however if the jets play defense like they did last week and can score a few points against a very good steelers defense it is possible the jets can win. i am not a jets fan by any means.....but i'm rooting for the jets on this one, i'd like to see a team not known for offense take it all the way....but i'll go with the packers if the superbowl is packers - steelers/jets.....the packers are just to hot to lose right now

coolmanvette75 01-22-2011 06:59 PM

Been a jets fan my whole life! Lets go jets!

Tru2Chevy 01-22-2011 07:06 PM

While I loved seeing the Jets take down the Pats, I'm pulling for the Steelers to take 'em down this week. Both teams are playing well, and I'm betting that having Polamalu back will make a significant difference. Between his leadership and explosive playmaking abilities, the Steelers D always seems to run smoother and make more plays as a whole when he's in the game.

Gotta root for the Jets I think...not sure why.
GB vs Bears, thats a whole different story.

T69SS 01-23-2011 03:49 PM

I gotta go Steelers. I think the Jets streak is over

Tru2Chevy 01-23-2011 07:09 PM

So....Steelers are up 24-0 with over a minute to go in the first half.

- Justin

BonzoHansen 01-23-2011 08:22 PM

throwing twice on the 2 they deserve to lose.

Tru2Chevy 01-23-2011 08:39 PM

24-19 now.....only 3 mins left to play though. Steelers have pretty good field position.

- Justin

BonzoHansen 01-23-2011 08:51 PM

nope, losers, and that play calling killed them (well, a lot of things did but that was the last straw). they were being successful running, why throw twice in that situation.

deadtrend1 01-23-2011 08:54 PM
