NEW: Dodge Challenger Drag Pak
if you were unsure if you liked the challenger before, maybe this will help sway you
http://www.mopar.com/performance/dragpak.html |
They did this with the earlier years as well, just not with the optional V10. It's neat that the factory is doing it, but it's just a race car - not remotely street legal.
GM does something similar with their body in white program. You can get a Camaro body ready to build into whatever you want from GMPP pretty cheap: http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/_res/pdf/BIW.pdf - Justin |

V10 Challenger is bad ass, no doubt.....but I think I could go a whole lot faster if I had a Camaro BIW delivered to Josh and gave him a check for the extra $77,000 I saved by not buying the Challenger.

Come on man, this wasn't that long ago  |
so thats the same as choosing between two 2011 track specific cars, one you pay 100k for and it comes how dodge wants it, the other you pay 100k for and its exactly how you want it... and they are made for the same race class?
|
yeaaahhhh!!!! car bodies no one has any use for except maybe for some specific racing classes. wooot!

Nothing smaller here - and I know people that think 2nd gens are too big. And that dumb challenger is the barge the chevy tugboat pushes. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...71rs/015-4.jpg I'd rather take $8000 and try buy the camaro drivetrain and put it in useful a car. Although right now pull-outs are running ~$10,000. I have no need for an un-registrable car. Scary is I still like the new camaro, I'm just still appalled at it's size. |
and yet i get hell around here for making fun of the new camaros size. double standard much.
|
I dunno I've goofed on the size since I first saw one in real life.
