How to make a Crown Victoria faster?

Title says it all. HOW DO I DO THIS? What are some ways that would actually work in making this car quick as a greased up fox shot out of a cannon?

JerzLT1 08-11-2011 01:37 AM

spray it

1994lt1 08-11-2011 01:46 AM

Sell it? Seriously I would just start with bolt ons and move on from there. they are so heavy and big that it could be a challenge to get them anywhere near your definition of fast

DKTheArcadeRat 08-11-2011 02:17 AM

It doesn't need to be as quick as a greased up fox shot out of a cannon. hahaha. I just want it much faster than it is now being the slow, heavy piece that it is.

Drop it out of a C-130 with no chute :)

WayFast84 08-11-2011 05:09 AM

If you have balls you'll spray a 200 shot!

LS1ow 08-11-2011 06:16 AM

what year is it? Swap the Maurauder Drivertrain in it with a Stock Blower Off a Termi Cobra.

Acquire a lot of air bags, stack under the chassis, sit inside, trigger air bags, win. Repeat as needed.

B4C 08-11-2011 05:57 PM

Twin turbo?

The_Bishop 08-11-2011 05:59 PM

JATO rocket on the roof?

r0nin89 08-11-2011 07:08 PM

5.4 super charged lightning swapper?

band77one 08-11-2011 07:08 PM

all of the above.

DKTheArcadeRat 08-11-2011 08:23 PM

These definitely all sounds like excellent ideas.

DKTheArcadeRat 08-11-2011 08:33 PM

But in all seriousness, this is my daily driver, I always thought it would be cool to do some work on it and make it go faster. I thought the idea of a fast Crown Vic was both hilarious, unnecessary, but at the same time TOTALLY NECESSARY. What is a solid option for increasing power without destroying the car?

redsoxsstink 08-11-2011 09:14 PM

black it out so people think your a cop. no need to go fast when they just move out of your way.

I've made people move out of my way before. Some asshat in a Cobalt passed me on 206 when I was going 60, so after he passed, I sped up, got right on his ass, he pulls over and lets me go by. I figure he had an OH **** COP moment.
