lot of questions pertaining to camaro, s10, and steering

so on the s10 forum i see a lot of people having problems with their rag joints. it jogged my memory of seeing people having similar problems on their LT1s and how they get the rag joint eliminator. which leads to my first question:

would the rag joint eliminator for the Camaros work in an S10?

after some more searching on tech i found out that one better to the rag joint eliminator is to use an LS1 shaft, with some work they have gotten them in and reported great success and tighter steering. sweet.

would that work in an S10?

doing some more reading i saw that peopl ehave said its even easier if the whole rack kit from an LS1 is swapped into the LT1,

would i be able to put one in the S10?

and last, which of these, or some other option, would be my best choice to better the steering?

For an S10, you might be able to use a steering shaft from a '93-'98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They have U-joints at both ends and ~should~ be long enough to work on the S10. I used one in my '88 Monte SS and had no trouble with it. Seeing as how the S10 shares the same front suspension as a G-body, I'm guessing the steering shaft will work too.
