what size tires would fit stock snowflakes
would anybody happen to be a tire expert and know what size tires could fit stock snowflake rims? the ones that came off i believe are 245 / 50 / 16.

Stock 4th gen "snowflakes" are 16x8, and I believe they all came stock with either 235/50/16s or 245/50/16s. The stock size that came on your car should be printed on the driver's door jam.
Either way, I would shop for 245/50/16s. It's a pretty popular tire size and you should be able to find what you are looking for without much trouble. - Justin |
i fit Mickey T 295/60/16s on them.
dont tell me i didnt because i have pics lol i know its out of the recomended with, but its fine, i drove on em everyday and they HOOKED. |
The OEM F body sizes in a 16 were 235/55R16 and 245/50R16

I put some 255/50/16 tires on the 16x8 wheels I had on my 68 Camaro. It's only 1 size up from the stock 245 but it should fit without a problem and have minimal affect on the speedometer.

thanks for all the input..does anyone know if a 225/55/16 tire would fit on a stock snowflake rim?...looking at some winter tires they will only be used for the winter months.

They will be a little strecthed...but will fit. |
I had 225/60/16 snow tires on stock 16x8 snowflake wheels with no issue. Narrow and tall, and they worked very well on the '02 3.8/5spd Camaro that they were installed on.
