It would definitely qualify for your level of quality build.

thats kind of what i was thinking... as long as it bolts up and stays on, its good.

Using cardboard and fiberglass mat would be cheaper though.

I had a Ebay WS6 hood on my 98 firebird. You can see pics of it on the car on my Fquik page. I got it from Tamarez hoods on ebay..

Take you're time, it can come out professional looking lol. Seriously, you could graph a cowl onto your existing hood, and blend it in with the glass.

I think the whole issue is that he doesn't have a hood in the first place....

I think you will need to be more specific.

He has a LS(something) car, with an LT1 front on it.

He is not running a lid/filter and wants to go back to a LS1 front end. So, the need for a LS1 hood comes forth, and why buy stock when you can get a fiber glass hood to ruin?

I think that sums this abortion.

why is it you can't go to the shore and get that little hood from Kurt?

Blacdout96 10-24-2011 06:58 PM

The LT abomination/awesome Reddit comic could give him a chance to learn how to/spruce up on his skills working with fiberglass/composites. didn't know he was going back to an LS1 front end anytime soon. Also it's because I had a spare LT hood in my back yard, and didn't know if he needed a hood.
