Yikes! Early season snow for Saturday?

They're now showing a really good chance for Saturday rain changing to snow and accumulating which could cause for some ugly conditions. It would be a heavy wet snow which will probably damage a lot of trees and cause power outages. Sounds like the NW portion of the state could get 3-5" overnight. It's too early for this! I guess I'm glad I winterized the boat last weekend.

they say global warming eh? more like global freezing......

zraffz 10-27-2011 10:24 PM

Awesome... snow + rain at this time of the year make the roads a disaster to plow. I'll spend more time cutting up trees than I will actually plowing.

maroman88 10-28-2011 02:46 AM

ordered some snow blower parts yesterday.... figures

JL8Jeff 10-28-2011 07:15 AM

I had pretty solid ice on the windshield this morning and the scraper is somewhere in the garage! I'm not ready for winter. It was 83 degrees 3 weeks ago! :|

Yea I was almost late for work because of the ice on my car.

Weather.com: NW Jersey shows 6-12 inches for tomorrow...

Your area may get a small amount of snow from what I heard this morning.

Good thing I took out my 2nd jet ski last week!

No, its more for fuel mileage, warm engine = more efficient engine. And since I do not pay electric bill...

Tru2Chevy 10-28-2011 10:54 AM

Yea, I know that part. Plugs let it start quick though? Cummins uses the grid heater, and that gives pretty much instant start, even down in single digits.
