more problems...

driving back to work today i heard a banging noise when i hit a bump. then i realized it bangs whenever i accell or hit the brakes. the sound sounds like its coming from right next to me/under the radio. i was thinking possible torque are mount bushing slid out?

sweetbmxrider 11-15-2011 12:32 PM

Rubber trans mount. Go poly on that and the engine.

i put a poly mount in when i did my edlebrock arm. but if i remember correctly it was a bitch to get it to sit properly, so i think it may have slid out?

Sounds like a torque arm mount issue to me. Check the bolts, maybe they backed out.

coolmanvette75 11-15-2011 12:54 PM

Sounds like a trans mount, but maybe not.

Prob won't fix the fact that the engine is shot.

sweetbmxrider 11-15-2011 04:53 PM

Makes sense that it does it while braking too, kinda looked over that part.

LS1ow 11-15-2011 05:15 PM
