Door stuck

The other day someone went to close my drivers side door and it didn't close all the way. The door has a bad pin so it sags a little bit. This know to me, when I close the door I pick it up slightly and never have a problem closing it on the first try. Unfortunately, the person who closed my door was unaware of this and on the second try just tried slamming it. The door is now stuck, and it is not even shut all the way. There is about three quarters of an inch gap between the midpoint of door and the body. The lock on the inside of the car feels and sounds like it is moving and the door handle on the inside feels like it is working as well. The outside handle just feels loose. I am not sure how to go about fixing this. Right now I have a tarp over the door so rain can't get in the open crack at the top of the window. Any help on this would be great.

I had a similar issue on a few vehicles. I had to kick the doors open from the inside and have someone tugging on the outside. Eventually it opened and I did the pins lol.

Not sure if their is an easier or less risky way but it worked a few times for me.

is the handle on the outside completly loose or just wobbley?

What you may want to try is jacking the car via the rocker panel in different places to see if the body flexes enough to get the door open.

If you do this, just remember to do it carefully and with a 2x4 or something similar between the jack and rocker so you don't damage anything.

I had tried kicking the door while having someone pull on the outside, but that didn't do the trick. Funny enough, my friend came over and just body slammed the door. Apparently that did the trick to close it all the way and I was then able to open it from there. Just bought a hinge pin kit and and am going to fix it this week. Thanks.
