2000 Won't start

Hi guys, I've got a 2000 trans am that I've been driving around no problem and all of the sudden today it stopped working, when I go to accessory power the gauges won't go on (except for the battery gauge which reads in the just normal range) and the motor will crank but not turn over. Every now and again the gauges will read like they should and go back off. Eventually, maybe 5 minutes later the car will start but have a really aggressive idle and if I go to drive it runs just fine.

Any help would be awesome guys this is eating me alive!

Check the battery connections, especially if it's a Delco battery. My original Delco battery rotted the terminals from the inside out and kind of behaved like that before the terminal fell out the side of the battery.
