what you guys think? is this a fair deal? looks good...

Eh, they're still only 15's - I think $450 is even pushing it - $550 is way too high. The value is in the tires, considering they're just about new.

FWIW, I bought a set of nice 18" FX35 rims with tires for $400, and sold my 17" G35 rims with good tires for $400.

MyFirstZ 03-26-2012 06:59 PM

I would look up the price of the tires first. I don't see any deal there

WildBillyT 03-26-2012 07:03 PM

Not a good deal. $300 max.

maroman88 03-26-2012 11:11 PM

rims are throw aways like camaro salad shooters

ar0ck 03-27-2012 02:06 AM

I would definitely not pay that much for a set of 15's

Waste...only good for rollers. You can by the rims at e/town for under $100 for 4, so essentially your paying book or more for the tires. Figure this, the most sought after 3rd gen rims (next to ronals), are the gta mesh style, and mint condition examples go for $500 redone.

yeah the wheels are in good condition tho, tires new installed probably about 400, and the center caps and lug nut covers are worth like 50 bucks, plus it does say or best offer

Not worth it. Really. Those aren't exactly desirable tires, either.

91FBirdDropTop 03-27-2012 10:06 AM

so what would you offer that is a good deal?

$300.

You are paying for 4 low end tires and wheels that are in good condition but are very common. Do not take mounting and balancing into account, etc as it's not your job to try and justify his price.

91FBirdDropTop 03-27-2012 10:23 AM

cool thanks

1320B4U 03-27-2012 12:27 PM

I'd go even less...$250...remember even if they 'appear' new they still are used. Why not upgrade to 16" ones?

BonzoHansen 03-27-2012 01:10 PM

$200 tops

greenformula92 03-29-2012 07:57 AM

yeah the 15's are no good. you want 16's $250.00 MAX but i would want them for less

NjbadSS 03-29-2012 08:59 AM

I understand most guys go for the aftermarket look on cars, but some people like factory replcement. This happens to be what came from the factory so nothing wrong with looking for a decent condition set. I agree that 400 is a bit pricey, the tires aren't the greatest, I would say 200 bucks. That is if the wheels are in great condition. Pitted up ones in horrible shape are dime a dozen but if these are very clean and gm stamped wheels, go for it.

The seller is asking $550....I am pretty sure that if they are asking that much they won't be willing to negotiate down to a "fair" price of $250 or less.
