They had a rarity calculator before, you kind of had to dig for it though

Unless it changed from before, compnine makes every car "rare". Said my yellow 92 was 1 of 2

because RPOs get quite granular, down to state emissions, etc.

it would be nice to be able to deselect certain RPOs to get a true sense of rarity.

Did you scroll down on the site after putting in a VIN?

BonzoHansen 06-15-2012 02:05 PM

Yes. Now there is a drag-and-drop feature where you choose which RPOs to include. So "February 1999 North Dakota Emissions" and "Production date of 1/13/1998 at 3:34 PM" don't skew it.

BonzoHansen 06-15-2012 02:33 PM

My 02 HD is one of two. The dealer where I ordered my truck put in the order for 2 identicle trucks so, my twin was/is local.

That's what I used. I compared a hand full of big options. Color, interior fabric and color, rear gears, t tops, and wheel color.

said my car had a fixed antenna... and it was right, but now its power though. oh well, so much for originality lol. Also didnt mention the high rise spoiler, maybe hatch was swapped on.
