Elvira is in surgery....

I had to drop Elvira off at the body shop today for a week long surgery thanks to whoever decided to key her in my driveway :( While she is there the shop is going to fix an imperfection on the quarter pannel as well. Hopefully she makes it through without issue.

That sucks.. Good luck!!

Blackbirdws6 06-18-2012 11:55 AM

That does suck but nice you can get something else fixed while you are there. Did you make any new enemies or kids just jealous of the SOM?

i had my mustang keyed a year ago. just checked the cameras at my shop and then they got what they deserved.

sorry to hear about the situation thou, hopefully it comes out perfect !

Curious to know if insurance is covering this or if you had to pay out of pocket. Sucks to hear that this happened...

Yes, its covered under Comp- vandalism. I keep the ded at $50 bc glass is also covered under that. Its just the point :(

I was going to post a picture of the damage but ill have to upload to my photobucket and add.
The kicker is that the day after the appr came out to see my car someone hit the bumper on her while she was parked in my driveway!!! That was able to be buffed out, but come on. For the most part the car just sits and I mind my own business.

Mental note......mustang hater must die

Also, WTF....hit in your driveway. I would start murdering people. I hope she comes out better than ever.

lets not talk murder,, its just taking care of a "few small things"

Now I would have a fear that as soon as it comes back from the body shop, this could happen at any time again:shock:. Good idea would be to have spot lights installed that have a motion sensor set to come on as soon as someone gets near your driveway.

Sorry to hear.
I wouldn't go doing anything stupid based on what you THINK somebody did. Cold hard evidence justifies smashing his car though.
