cummins swap

has anyone ever heard of a 4th gen cummins swap?

V 06-22-2012 04:02 PM

yes. Google or go on YouTube. people have put cummins motors in everything.

V 06-22-2012 04:09 PM

i came close to putting my 12v cummins in my 79 vette. lol. SO many people would have hated on me, more because its a vette. but after looking on YouTube, i saw it had been done already... a few times.

Would be sweet, but not really all that practical.

WSex 06-22-2012 06:00 PM

a little heavy yes

LTb1ow 06-22-2012 06:19 PM

A little?

That and a trans to hold all the power won't be a light weight either.

Short of doing it for the "look at what I did" its really kinda silly, you can't tow with it, and you can't really race it.

:shrugs:
