NEW MACHINE SHOP: Dempsey Motors

Hello let first start off by saying I figured I would write a topic about a new machine shop that I am using. Here a little bit about the shop. It called Dempsey Motors, the guy who runs it name is Jake. He is located in Philadelphia,Pa. He does everything from Tune ups to stock engine rebuilds & swaps. He also does Performance Engines,Roll Cages, Welding,Rear Differentials and much more.

Now i took my motor there to get the cam end play done and some porting work to heads and intake. Let me tell you this guy knows his stuff. He looked at my motor and started pointing out all these things the previous engine builder did wrong and could of done some serious damage. Somethings that he picked up just from looking at my motor was the rings werent filed right, that two pistons where put in wrong. We didnt even take my motor apart, he seen all these things just after lifting the motor off the truck.

I know someone is always looking for a local machine shop that does good work. So i figured I would let everyone know how it goes. Let me also add that Jake is a young, gentlemen just starting out and takes all the time in the world to talk to you about your options and what can be done. Also price is very reasonable.

I will keep you posted it on the build.
