P2P programs still around?

hey guys finally got my hands on a computer after 2 years of not having one. Im a little out of the loop on file sharing programs. Looking to download music obviously. im not really into torrents. Who is using what?

any p2p service youre gonna find nowadays is going to be filed filled with viruses and spyware and most likely not even going to be the file youre looking for. i dont torrent either, but apparently it seems to be the /safest/ way to get it from what I hear

yeah the days of safe P2P are long gone

Mediafire download and transfer the file to itunes. Thats what I do.

Torrents are still the best way, p2p's got fazed out years ago

Make sure you watch your ass if you are a Comcast customer.

Torrents for sure, and always be careful....
