My name is ryan, Im sorta new to this site, I used to have a profile on here like 2 years ago. I have a 1993 trans am and I love it. Im looking to meet people who love these cars as much as I do and also learn alot more about them. I work at chatterbox drive in and also a member of the sussex elks. So if anyone needs help setting up events for next year or even this year i can help with a location, Id like to hear what you guys think or even if you wanna just introduce yourself that would be very cool =)

I believe your car was discussed at the Chatterbox meet we had a couple months ago. Nick, Justin and myself were walking the cruise night and saw a green 4th gen parked away from the rest of us. Someone said it belonged to a member who worked at there.

Anyway, you could consider me a regular at the chatterbox on Saturday nights. I am nearly always there when the weather is nice. Lately I've been bringing up my 88 GTA. Others do show there, though I may not realize it. If you're interested, (you're in the area so I'm mentioning it) you may want to check out the Cops and Rodders show in Hackettstown that occurs in the Wendy's parking lot across from the Applebees on Thursday nights. Some days there are quite a few of us down there.

I have heard of the cops and rodders, I believe they were at a car show i ran once. But yea it was probably mine. Ill post a pic of mine in this thread for you guys as well. But back when you saw it, it probably had the stock rims.

Also! are you going to the meet this weekend? i get out of work at 5 and wanna go so bad but i wanna make sure someone will be there lol.

Yep, thats the car. In fact I think theres a pic floating around here of it. Already had those wheels on it when we saw it.

I will be at Island this weekend. Not sure when I'll get there but I'll be there from a lil after lunch at latest til we go to Applebees. Not sure how long we'll be there but considering drinks being involved I could see it being a bit. If you see an 88 GTA hardtop in the parking lot with a beat up paint job then I'm still there.

Hahaha the funny part is that was my plan btw i just put on grand sport fender stripes today lol the car looks so sick with them. I dont have a picture though. You'll have to check it out on saturday

Thank you and that explains why i have strange messages in my PM box that i dont remember lol. But thanks im happy to be back. I was out at the meet but only at applebees, Only L69 was there. But im gonna try to make it to the October one, and would it be possible for me to set up small meets for the north jersey section? just so i can meet people in the club?

Hey Ryan, glad you made it down, sorry I was the only one there. I just hung around in case others did show up. I decided to just order out and take it home so I could drink without worrying about somehow driving home. There were only 6 of us at the strip, and only 3 F bodies that we knew were from here and of those only me and Grazi ran, others showed with their daily drivers so I didn't know it was them.

Either way, if you can get to Cops and Rodders that occurs in the same parking lots on Thursday nights, you will run into more northern people. Sometimes they show there. I am game for trying to get a northern meet deal going, but can't say I'll make every one. The car looked good with the stripes on the fender.

Im really sorry i didnt say goodbye before you left, my girl needed something outta the car and i couldnt find you when we came in. Grazi, I didnt make it to the track cause i worked till 5 so i was at applebees. But yea, I just dont wanna step on anyones toes thats why im asking before i say i wanna set up a meet lol
