Question on interior conversion

what do i need to do to install 4th gen seats in my 1989 camaro? any modifications or is it just bolt in and go

They bolt right in. May have to do some work for the power seats to operate if you don't have them now

This shouldn't apply in your case, but for future references...

In 3rd gen cars that have split rear set backs(mainly trans am/firebird), In order to install a 4th gen rear seat back, you need to cut off the center pivot point thats on the transmission tunnel between the 2 rear seat bottoms.

Bolt in and enjoy...look for bird seats though..esp in leather, they look better.

iirc that is just a plate spot welded to the floor. I remember adding that to my 82 when i changed the interior over to one from a later car.
