Anyone want some of my bad luck?

Wellll, if losing Ginny yesterday was not bad enough, I had to go to the ER with chest pains this AM. Thought it was stress related, but turns out my gall bladder is shot and is prolly going to have to come out pronto. Geez life is swell!

WSex 10-16-2012 09:19 AM

best of luck to you

UBG went into the hospital this morning

Hey everyone. Bob called me this morning and wanted me to let everyone know he checked himself into the hospital this morning. He was having chest pains and shortness of breath. He mentioned he had a heart attack but they are checking him out at Somerset Medical Center. I told him to keep in touch if he needed anything.

Blackbirdws6 10-16-2012 09:32 AM

Rest up UBG. I just made another thread and saw this one.

WildBillyT 10-16-2012 09:44 AM

Damn Bob, so sorry to hear.

I'm sorry for your loss Bob.

Take care of yourself, an uncooperative gall bladder is just about the last thing you need...

HUGE props to Wild Billy T for stopping by to see me, and for bringing me some cool reading material and some awesome beef jerky. Right now Im reading the new Hot Rod, and once Im cleared to eat that jerky is gonna git gone!

The surgery went well, and the doc said the gall bladder def needed to come out, so the right call was made. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff here at Somerset Hospital. The overnight nurse was especially nice, and she spent a good chunk of time helping me deal with my loss of Ginny when I was having a rough moment.

I should be realeased today so life must go on

Not a problem at all, dude. Glad you're doing OK after the surgery.

A visit from WBT made things better!? I'm confused. I've met the guy, and that just sounds like more bad luck if you ask me

 Joking, of course.

Glad the staff treated you right, the right call was made, and that you're getting out of there quickly. Here's to a speedy recovery, and digging into that beef jerky!

Not much it seems. But I think it is a primer, as my appetite is nill. I had half a turkey burger and half a baked potato for dinner last night and I was satisfied. Doc said no working out for 6 weeks, so guess Ill just cut down with diet and start over.

The Wild One showed up dressed in a suit, and my first thoughts were either he is a bouncer come to throw me out of the hospital, or someone thought I needed a bodyguard!
