Public Transportation Question

Anyone good with these sorta things?

Looking to get from Little Silver/Long Branch area to basically Barneget/Southern Medical. As far as I can see there is no direct train, and I can take a bus there after a three hour tour of NJ.

Quickest via NJtransit is to Toms River park and go lot, which is better than nothing but still leaves like 15miles to go.

Thoughts, suggestions, and what not appreciated. I am open to other commercial options than NJtransit

One time trip or recurring?

LTb1ow 10-23-2012 04:06 PM

I suppose recurring, only difference will be price right?

If you go more than 3x's a week w/njtransit its better to buy a month pass....daily passes expire after 3wks and don't offer any discounts..monthly is the only plan that offers discounts in the long run but you have to make worth your while.

Yea I am well aware of the price part, I used to commute to NJIT on a daily basis and had a monthly pass.

Just trying to figure out how to go south now.

If you used to commute than you should already know that if you can, take the earliest train possible. I take it everyday to the city and in the past month of october ive had my trains engine blow causing an hour and a half delay.....twice within a week from eachother. They are soo horrible if you depend on them everyday

The thing is, and point of this thread, how do I get south via public transportation.

BonzoHansen 10-24-2012 09:50 PM

Not that far south. Public transportation seems spotty there, kind of how it is out here.

BonzoHansen 10-24-2012 10:04 PM

is your truck broke?

See if you can hook up a sweet deal with a limo company and roll into TR in style.

That won't be happening, but worst case a taxi will be used I guess.
