Sorry to hear that, Ted. I wish I was closer to give a helping hand.
Wow. There isn't much to say about this except I'm sorry for what happened. Sounds like you had some very close calls but thankfully no one was hurt or worse. I assume you had insurance on these items so hopefully that provides some small ray of light on things. If I was in a better situation, I would come and help. Good luck picking up all the pieces.
Holy crap Ted! Screw the cars and stuff glad you and the fam are ok!

I'm sorry, that is awful.
Is there a link to the app.com article? Ted, are the roads passible for anyone willing to come down and help?
Hopefully I will see you saturday
Ted,
WOW! Glad you and family are safe! From there everything else is secondary. Will call you later to see what help you have lined up. Bruce (the guy with the Orange Avalanche!) |
I have seen the destruction and the emotional draining ted is going through. I have done as much as I can to help him anyway I can. Most of us have either done business or met ted and know the kind of guy he is. I have had the pleasure of not only having him as one of my best friends but also someone I could turn to to do business with and be confident in what I was getting. All of us that can should try to help ted and his family in this difficult time. I know some of us have including myself. I got lucky but one of best friends is in a time of greatest need. And I know ted has helped a lot of us in one way or another. Its time to return the favor for a member and friend in need
holy crap man thats terrible! sadly i knew we'd see some of the club members cars destroyed since this storm was so big :(
is that where u left the car parked or where it wound up? Those Impalas have a sweet spot in my heart! |
man, im so sorry you guys lost so much. atleast that stuff is replaceable, your family isnt. good luck man. my prayers are with you guys.
i still have not nor has the wife started to understand the magatude of what just happened, but 20 yeas of collecting parts and 90% gone, lost gm parts for f-bodys as well and my 72 monte carlo, [ my high school car ] and very hard to find parts for the 56 ford [ his high school car ] of my dads all new parts still in the boxes gone,
if anyone knows a place i can take a 56 ford the engine is full to the carb with water, this is the only car i really want to save from my house |
I really don't know what to say. I want to say hang in there, but I'm sure it's not enough. When gas becomes more available, and things settle down I'd like to help out. Maybe we can get a group organized and all head down together?
Ted, try and give us a good update on what's going on. Can people get in to where your house is? What roads are impassible? What kind of help are you looking for? Is your house and garage safe for people to be going into?
Seen all of these cars...the monte was real nice....fathers zo6 was perfect. Please give us an update on the roads and accessibility ted. I'm still tending to issues at my house but should be available later in the wk to help out.
