It is VERY nice.

Got it from a Ford dealer in PA - got 17.3 mpg on the 130 mile drive home.

It's the new winter beater

OG 11-10-2012 01:38 PM

17.3 mpg!

Does the 6.1 get better gas milage than the 5.7??

I don't think my '08 GC gets close to that

V 11-10-2012 02:48 PM

VERY nice

madness410 11-10-2012 03:59 PM

very sweet ride man. snap some pics of the interior is it the interior with the suede? congrats on the new jeep and good luck with it.

sweetbmxrider 11-10-2012 04:20 PM

Race it yet?

:)

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-10-2012 04:36 PM

Wow, you got an even trade for your Exploder for that?! What dealer?

The_Bishop 11-10-2012 05:56 PM

Yeah, I'm in on that deal!

Blackbirdws6 11-10-2012 06:38 PM

Very nice. I have always had a soft spot for those.

12secondv6 11-11-2012 07:36 AM

I'll get more pic's today.

Actually, I got 18 mpg on the highway last night - just cruising at about 68-70 mph - tires inflated to about 35 psi.

It is rated at I think 16 on the highway. I see around mid 15's around town.

This thing is a blast to drive - sooooooo smooth. Quiet at cruise speed but loud when I lay into it.

Haven't raced it yet :(

I think it is AWD - not on demand 4WD

WayFast84 11-11-2012 04:07 PM

I love those SUV's I wish they could tow a car though.

OG 11-11-2012 05:51 PM

It has quadra-drive II which is full time awd.

unstable bob gable 11-12-2012 06:13 PM

That is soooooooooooo bad ass! SRT8 Jeep was on my list, but every one I found was outa my price range. Good luck with it! :)

Mike 11-13-2012 12:34 AM

I pulled my answer from jeeps specs on the model....jeeps suck so bad they don't know what they build apparently

OG 11-13-2012 05:42 AM

you really opening up that can of worms?

Mike 11-13-2012 11:37 AM

Which can of worms?

OG 11-13-2012 12:11 PM

It's a jeep thing. You wouldn't understand

The_Bishop 11-13-2012 12:34 PM

It's a Jeep thing. Even *they* don't understand. How do you put 'jeep' emblems on a mall-crawling pavement queen?

No knock on the new acquisition, though - That's a sharp SUV.

LOL. I was going to make the same post with different wording.

1.) Awesome new ride, I love the SRT-8 Jeeps. I got my ass kicked by one once.

2.) I will never "understand" how a salty war machine turned into a soccer ball hauling, yankee candle scented, Lifetime network wagon.

OG 11-13-2012 12:39 PM

Cuz range rovers, land cruisers and hummers see so much off-road time

Didn't say they were any better.
