The details are overwhelming. What car, mods, stick/auto, etc?

LTb1ow 11-25-2012 09:30 AM

Wrap it, and go for the gold.

rickyd13 11-25-2012 10:30 AM

Leave the line a little easier. It's cold and your on street tires. You probably spun like hell to the 2.2

Put the car in drive not overdrive also. And if you are trying to manually shift it, let it shift itself

rickyd13 11-25-2012 11:54 AM

Should have next run in within 20-30 min post up after lets see how this goes

So much for getting advice...lol

NJ Torque 11-25-2012 12:17 PM

How do you feel about runnning the car in my sig?

WildBillyT 11-25-2012 12:21 PM

Best thing is to get over being intimidated. When you go to do your burnout put medium pressure on the brakes and spin them to about the 1/8 mile or so. Then they will be good and hot and hook.

Kidding of course.

Serious:

Put the trans in D, do a quick burnout to clean the tires, and play around with your launch RPM. See what gives the hardest launch with the least wheel spin.

rickyd13 11-25-2012 02:22 PM

Second run was 13.98 @ 97.07 With a 2.226 60'
Yeah while i was waiting for tech lol and sounds good anything to run is better than nothing had a great time but the tires are worn down streets so they dont hook for **** but i just need my own car now

98tadriver 11-25-2012 03:05 PM

damn, only trapped 97mph? figured it'd be good for more than that. I'll put a 50 shot on the saturn and run ya ;-)
